Fairfax, Va - Many of you have seen the recent Dos Equis Beer ad campaign featuring "the most interesting man in the world". Seen here:
It seems that in making the ad Dos Equis failed to look into the story of a High School Principal at a small Christian school in Northern VA who rode a motorcycle into the gym to introduce himself to students. This story alone calls into question the claims of the ad that the man they show is "the most interesting man in the world." BGACW4A investigators have determined that the Principal described above is none other than Michael Burroughs of Lakeland, FL (formerly of Word of Life Academy) not the man the Dos Equis used in their ad campaign. This story resurfaced recently when Burroughs agreed to return to Northern VA to officiate the Wedding of Brent Gardner and Christina Walsh (a former student of Burroughs) in a ceremony to be held this September. Dos Equis now finds itself in an actionable position as the truth of their advertising has been called into question. Perhaps in lieu of a cash settlement Dos Equis will do the honorable thing and use the legend of Michael Burroughs to promote their brand. The American people demand more. The American people deserve more. Only time will tell if Dos Equis will do the right thing.
